Meet Krystal Rains of Ancestral Trauma Healing with Krystal in The San Fernando Valley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Krystal Rains.

Krystal, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My journey on this path began during a class vision meditation with Griffin at The Green Man. We visited a cave to receive a “gift” from our ancestors…when I opened the treasure chest I was led to, I was surprised to find BETRAYAL from both sides of the family.

What a ‘wonderful gift’, not… As I thought of how I have been betrayed by family members, I recognized points in my life in which other people would have felt betrayed by me; betrayer, betrayed, betrayal perpetrates more betrayal. Creating just a small opening in that brick wall of my own inner defenses, gave me a toe-hold into the connection I would need to continue on this path.

I next found myself in a class with Orion Foxwood on Ancestral connections, and I asked the question that I already knew the answer to; “So if you have unfinished business with family that has passed, what do you do?” The basic response was “You are here, you deal with it.” And so…here I started.

My healing practice and journey wove through a variety of healing practices and spaces. Healing myself and my own family lineage, branched into helping friends and then referrals started coming in. A little over a year ago I was encouraged to extend my message wider so that more people could access the healing themselves and to weave in various modalities.

I have shared my story and tools in spaces from Claremont to Simi Valley, Pasadena to Irvine, but my home base is in the SFV. I will be presenting at a LA County Department of Mental Health event in Covina and up in San Luis Obispo next month. (May 2019)

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Healing is rarely a smooth path, and certainly not a direct one. I have been resistant to doing the work at times, but I share a tool to help with that problem in my workshops, as it is common.

Last year, between getting the call to reach a wider audience and my first workshop, I was hospitalized with an unexplained illness three times, which is a healing journey all it’s own.

I still struggle to reach a wider audience on a limited budget, but I am happy to talk to one person or 50, as long as they want to understand my work and to heal.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Ancestral Trauma Healing with Krystal – what should we know?
The call to use my energy healing work to focus on Ancestral Trauma Healing is a heart focused journey for me. After creating my first workshop, I looked around and realized that there were few if any healers focusing on these issues directly in the Southern California area. There are a few around the country and others currently in training, but still few here in LA.

My mission is to connect others with compassionate and healing practices to process Ancestral Trauma. Staying heart centered in this work is my personal ethical mandate. I am happy to help people do their processing, but I am more committed to sharing practices and tools that allow others to be resilient and self-healing in their own lives. I do not need to create dependency, there is plenty of trauma to work on in our communities.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Compassion and integrity.

  • Personal Sessions, face to face or remote work online is $50 (there is a distance surcharge for distance)
  • When I do public events, I have a Heart Chakra clearing practice that opens other spaces to healing for $15
  • Workshop prices vary from space to space but range from $15 to $25.
