Meet Korby Benoit

Today we’d like to introduce you to Korby Benoit.

Hi Korby, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m the son of Haitian immigrants and I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I moved to Los Angeles in 2016 in pursuit of entrepreneurial opportunities, good weather and a new beginning.

Along with being a chef, I also have deep personal history in music production, DJing, painting and fashion. I saw LA as a vibrant place that could facilitate my interests.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It had been a rough road. I started with very limited funding and resources however I’ve also experienced profound miracles that enabled me to remain here. Because of this, I feel responsible to offer something to LA.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a vegan chef whose work emphasizes the healing aspects of raw and alkaline foods. I specialize in an assortment of gourmet dishes, sauces, sides, drinks, smoothies and juices. I do my best to make healing foods soulfully delicious.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
Being affectionate with towards my mom at any random moment.
