Today we’d like to introduce you to YoungSir kingme sound.
YoungSir, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
After my grandpa passed away in 2010, the music went from being my joy to my world. I got a love for music, before actually recording music through my family. Music is what kept us together, happy and motivated. Before my music career, I had hopes of being in entertainment. I loved everything about it. So I started recording and the first recording I knew was golden. Growing up without the resources to do what I want, it became tricky in my beginning stages. Opening for big time artists and traveling to network became my niche to learn the game. Time grew on & I learned to freestyle as well as write in the studio. What motivates me is my family. It’s all you got. I have a few solid guys around me who keep me going too musically. Gotta have team members. Coming out of the valley I had to learn to pave my own way with my genre, as well as make my own name. Over time I’ve gotten better with finding myself as an established artist, and I’m still getting better.
Has it been a smooth road?
Stepping out of my comfort zone was one thing that I learned over time, at first it was rough. Getting on new beats or faster tracks is a learning experience but it could get better after a while.
We’d love to hear more about your work.
KingMe is prolific, diverse and it’s the label I’m building based on the journey I take in the music. Looking to sign of artist to our team as well.
