Meet Dr. Kenneth Wright of Beverly Hills

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Kenneth Wright.

Dr. Wright, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
As a pediatric eye surgeon, I have devoted my career to the welfare of children. I have experience as a small business owner and international experience lecturing and performing surgery worldwide. Now I am running for US Congress District 33 because frankly we need a change from career politicians.

Has it been a smooth road?
Dr. Wright helped raise 5 children in the Palos Verdes and Torrance area. As fate would have it, his youngest developed crossed eyes in infancy. Rather than refer out, Dr. Wright performed “early surgery” on his own son with great results – his son later qualified as an expert marksman in the United States Marines.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Dr. Wright for Congress – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Dr. Wright is not a career politician and has had real-life leadership experiences both in the public and private sectors. He worked in leadership roles for large entities including Los Angeles County Hospital, USC School of Medicine, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Cedars Sinai Medical Center, and the Cleveland Clinic. Presently he owns and runs a successful small business and has the responsibility of having employees and meeting payroll.

Important in today’s world, Dr. Wright has extensive international experience having participated in numerous medical meetings, seminars, and surgical missions worldwide. His working experience includes the Middle East, Asia, India, Australia, England, Europe, Latin America and Africa. For over 15 years he has worked closely with the Middle East on training physicians and educational activities. Recently, Dr. Wright was awarded a service medal of honor from the office of the President of Panama for over 20 years of service to Panamanian children.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Dr. Wright is from the South Bay and graduated from South Torrance High school. He has an inherent passion for where he grew up and still regularly surfs at Torrance Beach.
He loves the ocean and knows the importance of a clean environment.
