Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelli Camille Hubbard.
Hi Kelli Camille, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was born and raised in Chicago, IL. I made my transition to Los Angeles in 2010 aspiring to be in the entertainment field, however that was short-lived when I fell in love and had two beautiful sons, I then attended Cosmetology school in the Wilshire area. I struggled for a while to make ends meet living in Los Angeles so I decided to pick up and go back home to my family in Chicago, that’s when I decided to get into Real Estate, so I went to school and got my license in the state of IL, business was good however I missed being in LA so much and missed all my friends so I flew back and attended real estate school in Los Angeles and received my License for California as well. It was then a tragedy happened and my son’s father was murdered, it detoured my plans for years with all the grieving I endured. I can finally say I’m coping and I’m in a better place. I’m currently building a legacy for my children and the Real Estate industry will help me to do it.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Some of the biggest Struggles is losing my children’s father, he was always there for me and his children and when he passed I felt like I became handicapped. I was stuck for years.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a licensed Realtor in the states of California and Illinois, I’m proud of myself for overcoming the struggles I had to in order to be there for my children. I believe in consistency and that is what I offer in my profession and personal life.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Patience Patience Patience!!!
