Today we’d like to introduce you to Keiana Armani.
Keiana, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My journey began in 2015. I reached a point in life where I could not muffle my inner calling to create. I knew what was inside of me and I had to begin to uncover the layers that were holding me back from my full potential. Vividly I could see that version of myself and I set out to manifest. I read a book that gave me strength to resign from my full-time job that I was extremely unhappy at by Joel Osteen. I then began to work on myself mind body and spirit. As I got healthy through working out, changing my lifestyle, my confidence grew, and my creativity was finally being set free. Fashion was always inside of me, I knew it was what I wanted to do. So I decided to attend My very first Fashion week in NYC without any invitations to shows I simply showed up aligned myself with the industry I dreamed of being apart of.
That same year I styled & creative directed my very first editorial and worked with a major company Curlbox. As I was working on myself, I was sharing the journey of becoming a fashion stylist and getting healthy on a website I had created which was Indigo Blue Style. I’ve always had a passion for helping women so I decided if I was going to have a career in fashion it had to have a purpose bigger than I, it had to provide assistance to other women, and inspire them to reach their goals. Over the years, I continue working with major Fashion Publications including Elle, Essence, HufMagazine, etc. By 2019, I was ready to Launch Indigo Blue Style into the next level and bring some talented women along with me. We Successfully relaunched the Brand with an all-women team including writers, bloggers, graphic designers, etc. By the end of 2019, I became a Certified Fitness Trainer to continue to spread awareness of just how crucial living a healthy lifestyle truly is to Manifest ones dreams. This year we launched a Successful Podcast show “Indigo Blue Women Empowerment Conversations.”
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There has definitely been challenges through the years. It was tough to balance being a mother, a creative, and a businesswoman at the same time.
