My family has been in the eye care industry for over 50 years. My father, in particular, has left a formidable legacy in Beverly Hills with one of the largest selections of elegant designer and vintage frames. His goal was to serve the community and dispense fashionable eyewear with high quality lenses. Growing up, I witness his attention to detail and the satisfaction he gained by enhancing his client’s most precious sense – sight. While witnessing him expand his business and passion for eyewear with Super Vision Optical, it motivated me to begin my journey to pursue a career in the eye care profession.
After years of school, training, numerous accolades and academic awards, I completed my doctorate of optometry degree. Shortly after graduating, I started my practice called Beverly Hills Optometry. It was conceived nearly four years ago and is now an extension to Super Vision Optical. As I set out to promote my practice as a new grad, I noticed it was more challenging than expected. The initial 6 months were a struggle as I found my footing to capture patients whose unique eye care needs we could meet and exceed. By sharing my mission statement with the Beverly Hills Optometry team, we were able to offer a 5-star experience to our patients. Thanks to word of mouth, our practice began to gain the momentum with our unsurpassed service, quality, and care.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
At Beverly Hills Optometry, we strive to focus on differentiating ourselves from other eye care facilities. Our goal is to provide unique patient encounters. Whereas most physicians or eye doctors may limit their face time with patients, we seek to engage and gather information to make the experience memorable and pleasant. Our challenge at Beverly Hills Optometry is scaling to increase patient acquisition without compromising patient care. Therefore, we constantly seek out modern diagnostic and therapeutic devices as well as interactive technology to improve efficiency and maximize quality.

Our 5-star team at Beverly Hills Optometry offers the latest and most innovative dry eye therapies in a concierge health care setting. Our practice features The Eye Massage therapy and holds the honor of being the 1st site in Beverly Hills to offer this treatment. We have treated a number of A-list celebrities (Oscar winners, The Royal Family, TV personalities, Grammy winners, and professional athletes) in-office and now partner with entertainment companies and tech companies to address issues with dry eye as well as digital eye strain related to or caused by computer, laptop and cell phone use.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Currently, I am on the advisory board and serve as consultant for a number of healthcare related companies (i.e. Visionix, Fruit Street Telehealth, OcuSOFT, Patient Pop, etc.). The healthcare industry is evolving at an exponential rate and I plan to be at the forefront of this transformation. By combining my knowledge of technology and eye care, I hope to share a unique perspective so these companies continue to thrive and to provide the best services and products. Leaders anticipate the road ahead while losers are reactive and slow to adapt.
Our philanthropic efforts: Our practice sponsors an annual scholarship at Western University honoring a third-year student who exemplifies top clinical and leadership skills. Furthermore, Beverly Hills Optometry is an annual supporter of the Dream Builder’s Project which holds an annual gala to raise money for the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. We currently provide vision screenings to the community and plan to continue on a monthly or quarterly basis.
