Today we’d like to introduce you to Josue Janvi’er.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Josue. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I grew up in Miami, Florida where I stayed in Miami Gardens. Started writing down poetry by the age of 12, bout time I became the age of 15 I started recording music. I spend about five years recording home freestyle videos in my room growing a fan base. 2017 I got bored with life and insisted to my friend that we should travel. Once we made it to LA, I fell in love with the lifestyle. Said fuck it and took the risk, of course in the beginning there was a lot of struggle, from sleeping in car, showering at the gym, to being homeless for eight months. But through it all, that showed no matter what, life comes with many obstacles, to always think about the big picture and handle one brick at a time.
Has it been a smooth road?
Of course not, there’s always beauty in the struggle, in the road of me fighting for my dreams, I’ve lost money, friends, women, been in debt, credit score damage, homeless. Depress. No one knew I was making millions of streams online but behind the scenes, I was working at target and was a security full-time for like a year. Slew in my friend’s car for about eight months.
Can you give our readers some background on your music?
I’m a musician but I’m also connected to a company with is called Fvclean. We specialize in designing clothes, furniture, jewelry, throwing shows, collective of artists. I’m part of how we can come together for one big vision and work as a family. There’s no should thing as friends in the company, it’s all family. I’m the visionary so I create the music and help making sure everything goes to plan.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Good question, I see myself being one of the biggest artists in the world, changing the way people see art. Art is expression not a genre. Making people feel unity is the key. That’s what the world is missing.
