Meet Joshua Huddleston of JH Teknical in San Fernando Valley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joshua Huddleston.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Joshua. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I moved to Simi Valley away from his parents in 2011 due to being in an extremely abusive home environment. I registered for the Youth City Council out of desperation in finding a more positive environment.

After writing an essay for the position I was chosen along with 20 other youth out of hundreds in the city for the 2012-2013 term, I contributed massive amounts of ideas that were used to improve social programs that
targeted homeless, youth employment and heroin abuse.  My involvement in multiple boards, he was given the opportunity to speak in front of an audience of over 500 city citizens which was also aired on local news stations.

After moving back to Los Angeles County in 2015 with a spark for life and new experiences, I began working for
Pacific Theaters. Josh was responsible for re-stocking all product, making sales, serving orders, and selling tickets to as many as 2,000 people on a Friday night. With my business like mind set I wanted to make something of myself far beyond a movie theater.

In the 2nd quarter of 2015, I began working for a real estate education company where I managed all marketing efforts some of which include direct sales, social media, free-bee, demographic targeting and about 150 other forms of marketing. I also handled administration support through booking hotel banquet rooms and contracting sponsors to enable a successful and profitable meeting.

While working at Prosperity Through Real Estate, I opened my own marketing consultant company in 2016, JH Teknical. JH Teknical’s primary focus is to help entrepreneurs with marketing structure, web design and client flow. JHTeknical’s works with serial entrepreneurs such as Robert Orfino who owns AlpinePremier Investments and has co-hosted talk shows with marketing giant Grant Cardone.

Sabrina and Carlos Franco who own Los Angeles Property Partners are another great example of a JH Teknical client. LA Property Partners is responsible for the purchasing of multiple properties in the east coast and providing great rates of return on investor money. JH Teknical created the web platform and back end for LA Property Partners to market and engage clients easily.

JH Teknical has a web blog with over 80 posted articles and also is featured on various websites such as and various other websites and social media platforms. JH Teknical will continue to grow much larger within the next year while I am the CEO and our focus is shifting as we move into more of an IT development for small business.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, the road has not been smooth. As I said, I came from an abusive home. My mother was a an addict when I was young. My father was physically abusive. I fell into the wrong crowd and struggled through high school. When I moved to Simivalley, I was brought into a wealthy upper class neighborhood and household. It sounds great but the transition was beyond rough. It felt so alien and intrusive.

The confidence to find a job that suited my abilities that I knew I had was difficult. Finding that spark and believing others could see it was also hard.

When I worked with the Real Estate Education company it was great for a few years. Of course, as a young ambition dreamer you tend to get taken advantage of. Though, I was treated very well I was also often threatened of my job or paid such low wages that I could not feed myself. Due to leaving my home, this was difficult. It was hard for wealthy businessmen that I worked for to understand how someone at my age could have such responsibility. Often, when I asked for more pay, I was shrugged off or told to kick rocks.

Those that did have faith in me told me to never stop dreaming and so here I am today, building my own business as my own boss and inspiring other young entrepreneurs to do the same.

My company JH Teknical works in the niche field of real estate technology. We specialize in working with senior citizens who struggle with modern investment technology. Not only do we help many investors with their technology needs but, we also work with other types of companies and people in the general realm of IT.

I am most proud of being able to work with such strong individuals and say that as a company we took part in helping others grow their companies, businesses and bank accounts.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
The quality that I find to be most important to my success is tenacity. Life is rough. At one point, I was homeless sleeping in my car. At another, I couldn’t feed myself or family. Be tenacious. Get through. Do what you need to and follow your intuition.
