Meet Jon Buratti of Paramount Herbs in Burbank

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jon Buratti.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Jon. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I was pretty unhealthy and over weight in the 1990s. I had great insurance and my girlfriend at the time convinced me to see the doctor more often. I was on 6 prescription drugs and decided to get off the chemicals. I met a naturopathic doctor, like I became, and he got me down to a safer weight and off all chemical drugs with exercise and herbal supplements. I wanted to help people since changing diet and the proper nutritional support can turn around most conditions that people are suffering from. I got one woman out of a wheel chair that was in it for over 3 years, that her MD gave up on. I’ve helped many overcome diabetes and other chronic conditions that we are “taught” can’t be reversed. I’m usually the last doctor that one needs to return to health.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
In the beginning, I had a lot of walk ins due to a large advertising budget. But as people got better they stopped coming in and recommending my services. One woman in Beverly Hills loved me so much and told her friends about me and after 2 months called me back to see if any of her “friends” called me for help; she balled them out for being cheap and thanked me for thinning her parasitical associates from her life as she grew tired of listening to their problems when they wouldn’t be a part of their own healing. I work over the telephone recommending specific nutritional supplements and have been called a witch and a warlock for my accuracy in detecting their harmful energies created by pathogens and poor body terrain.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
I do muscle testing, neuro-kinesiology, sclerology and dermatones–reading of the lines on your feet. As a naturopathic that treats the whole body, spiritual, mental and emotional issues I can’t specialize in one part of the body. We are whole beings and an infection in the jaw could be affecting the heart. An emotional sadness maybe affecting their whole health caused by depression. I stand out from my peers as I do the energy readings without any type of machine. I encourage my clients to use ‘Western” medicine for emergencies and for specific numbers on lab work. I do provide Urine Testing for 10 elements read on a machine that prints out the values for evaluation. If any numbers are out of range we may need to work on these issues first before reversing any other condition.

Clients may have different supplements that they use and I recommend that they bring them in for muscle testing. There are a lot of good products out there and bad, of course. I specialize in 4 lines of products: the ones that helped me get healthy and stay healthy. I’ve also intuited some of my clients’ pets for which tinctures they need, i.e. liver and kidney support, parasites, fungus and other infection agents. Tinctures are easiest to give pets as my dog–passed away at 18–could cough up a capsule minute later–and children won’t take many capsules either. If a client is using other brands I’ll see if they are helping or hurting them in their healing path.

What were you like growing up?
I grew up in middle of nowhere Pennsylvania and was bored most of the time. There was no internet and the librarian knew my grandmother and would report my reading to her and then it was relayed to my mom. When my voice started to change and I was overweight I wanted to learn about nutrition and looked at books in the “adult” section. When I arrive home, it was told I was seeking out adult subjects and when my dad gets home he’ll spank you. Insulin is a hormone and I was punished for reading about hormones. I was basically a loner because my parents believed any of the children over me for any infraction of growing up. I was told I’m an extrovert but forced to be introverted with a rapid eye reading. Now I’m happy to explore new topics and to go out and showcase how my nutritional supplements can reverse chronic and acute conditions. I still enjoy watching a train go by and riding the Metro occasionally to people watch and avoid paying excessive parking fees found in this city. I enjoy participating in some sports rather than sitting and watching some overpaid athletes on tv. I was told children were to be seen and not heard growing up and I am totally against this and when helping families I make sure that the children have an outlet to be able to speak with their family members without being punished for thinking differently.
