Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Becoming a successful blogger and small business owner is always an uphill battle. There is a lot of competition and “noise” out there. I have found social media to be my best ally when it comes to promotion.

Please tell us about My Beauty Bunny.
My blog was one of the first cruelty-free beauty blogs (established in 2009). At the time, there were far fewer blogs than there are now, and very few were focused on cruelty-free beauty products (no animal testing). Since then, the cruelty-free movement has grown, and more bloggers and influencers are starting to spotlight cruelty-free brands.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would have optimized my site (and every blog post) for SEO. That’s the one thing most bloggers don’t know much about when they start.
