Today we’d like to introduce you to Jackqueline Reyes Olmos.

Jackqueline, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Sara & I started this business after trying the keto diet. We knew we had to stop eating bread to get healthy and back on track. Loving the kitchen, it came natural to reinvent recipes. Took off from there to something a whole lot bigger. That we are beyond grateful for.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been a beautiful ride! We successfully made it into six coffee shops in 2020

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a secretary & nurse’s assistant at Long Beach Memorial when I’m not baking. I run the baking business full time and work part-time at the hospital. I’m most proud about being a single mother with a growing business. Hoping to have my own shop in this coming year with my daughter and two boys.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
That during a crisis you can still grow if you set your heart to it
