Today we’d like to introduce you to J.Star.
So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Got to where I started when I was in high school. Would always record in my room after school all night long. At first, I took it as something to have fun with but a lot of people enjoyed my music and started to create a little fan base.
Which led me to the artist I am today. Being able to be in many record label studios and working with many talented artists such as Joe Moses, Kap G, & many more.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s never a smooth road with something you have a passion & love for. Everybody is trying to chase the same dream that you have. Some struggles I faced and still face today is just being in the studio working till like 6am or sometimes till like 8am. I’ll go in the studio during the evening time when it’s dark & step out when the sun is out. But it shows that I really want to be successful in the game and I will work my tail off to be the best artist & person I can be.
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I’m a singer located in the heart of Los Angeles. I’m known for being a recording artist, & something I’m most proud of is getting recognition not only in the city of LA but worldwide.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite childhood memory really has nothing to do with music. It was just a blast to be playing outside with all your friends & with nothing really to worry about but just waking up early to go to school & keeping good grades.
