Meet Isabella Sun

Today we’d like to introduce you to Isabella Sun.

Isabella, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I received my degree from the University of California, Davis, in Textile and Clothing with an emphasis in Marketing and Economics and am fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.

I started my career working in fashion marketing and public relations for the fashion industry but realized my passion for Real Estate. By working through award season and with various clientele, I am experienced to tailor each experience for each client’s needs. My experience in the fast-paced fashion industry has prepared me for Southern California’s competitive marketplace. Throughout my life, I watched my parents invest and manage properties in Southern California. My mom is also a realtor, so she has been a great mentor in my real estate career.

In addition to my love for Real Estate, I work with my family in Estate Planning and am also a Notary Public. I am well versed in California laws and codes that could potentially save your family thousands. With my knowledge in Living Trusts, I am able to help Sellers become exempt from taxes by using the correct exemptions.

I am proud to support the sorority that helped mold who I am today. I currently serve as Marketing Advisor for Chi Omega at the University of California, Los Angeles. Through my time as a Chi Omega, I have found the importance in giving back to the community. I make sure to give back to Make-A-Wish Foundation, which helps fulfill the wishes of children with a critical illness between the ages of 2½ and 18 years old.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Every transaction has its bumps, but for the most part, it’s been pretty smooth. I am very lucky to have many real estate mentors in my life and I credit them for my smooth journey.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I will always put YOU first. Whether you are a first-time home buyer or a seasoned investor, I will take the time to advise and guide you through the search, loan, and escrow process and make sure you feel comfortable. I will work 24/7 for YOU. I genuinely care about you and will make the process smooth. Even after the transaction, I offer the ability to help homeowners protect their greatest asset, their home, in a trust to avoid probate.

I love working with first-time homeowners and trust sales. I love doing it all but there is a special sparkle to first-time homeowners. The moment when I give my clients their keys is just pure bliss. Trust sales are always interesting. I am always honored when the successor trustee allows me to help sell their parents’ or grandparents’ home. Although many properties are older, they have so much charm and I love to highlight that.

I really like for my clients to be comfortable with me. I start friendships with all my clients and we always keep in touch!

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I’ve learned in real estate is to stay calm. There is always a solution to every problem and to not freak out. It might seem like the world is falling apart in that moment, but in a week or so, I will look back on that problem and chuckle.
