Meet Isabel Brazon

Today we’d like to introduce you to Isabel Brazon.

Hi Isabel, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Baila Baila started as an initiative to help parents introduce children to Spanish in the early years and preserve the Spanish roots on children with Hispanic backgrounds. I am originally from Venezuela where I studied education and communication and dedicated most of my time working in the children entertainment field. My idea was to create music that parents can enjoy and children can learn with introducing rhythms from all over the world. At the moment, Baila Baila offers classes in Venice and the west side of Los Angeles, birthday parties, music in all digital platforms and YouTube videos. We have supported the Latin community over the years and gotten some recognition by bringing the Baila Baila joy to festivals, libraries, school events and people’s homes through our music and videos.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I absolutely love what I do, which have made it mostly easy. However, now as a mother of two, learning how to delegate and manage time has been a struggle. Even though my kids are my main source of inspiration, they are my biggest priority now and Baila Baila has taken second place. So I have struggled with letting go a bit of some demand of my career to be a mommy. If you ask me, a very rewarding and honorable job as well, but absolutely challenging.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Baila Baila teaches Spanish through music. We have four music albums available on all digital platforms. We have YouTube videos, very dynamic for children to dance to and learn from home. We perform live in Los Angeles in private and public events with our bilingual, interactive, educational show. We have a fun program of classes for toddlers and babies that we offer in Venice and Santa Monica area.

I am very proud of how much community awareness we have created through the years. I’ve been welcomed with wide-open arms everywhere I go and this makes me improve and want to always be able to fulfill everyone’s expectations. I am proud of the image we have developed throughout the years online and how we have reached people all over the world with our music. Most recently, I am very proud of my last album “maracas” which is performing beautiful in main digital players.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Perseverance, always keeping my head up and giving my best energy to everything I do. The positive mentality that tells me that I CAN and that what I have to offer is valuable.

  • Classes range from $25 – $85
  • Performances range from $250 – $750
