Today we’d like to introduce you to Isaac Gray.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Isaac. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started playing music when I was 11 years old in my church worship team. I grew up in a very musical family and I was in a band with my dad and older brother. Our band name was AlwayzGray since our last name is Gray. I started on drums and then slowly learned to play the guitar and sing.
I always wanted to be a musician and when I graduated high school, that didn’t change. Shortly after graduating, I went to play drums for an event at a school my friend attended, that school was Norco College. After the event, I knew I had to go to this school. I attended Norco College for the next two years, meeting the most beautiful hearted humans/artists I’ve ever met. I recorded an EP titled “Homesick” and released it on all streaming platforms. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without my friend/mentor Brady Kerr, an instructor at Norco College. He helped produce my whole EP. I’m currently working on my first full album. As of late, I’ve been studying film and writing, hoping to pursue filmmaking alongside making music.
Has it been a smooth road?
I’ve been incredibly lucky to have friends and family that support everything I want to pursue. Whether its music or filmmaking. It’s definitely tough at times when you’re trying to build a name for yourself in the industry that I want to be in, but I’ve been blessed with a strong foundation. No matter what, I will continue to push myself till I get there.
