Meet Innovator of Innovators Media in North Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Innovator.

Innovator, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My senior year of college at Cal State Northridge, I started interning at the Csun radio station and Power 106 with the La Leakers. That was where I first gained my love for radio. Then after interning for free for 11 months, I saw a job opportunity to be aboard opt at a start-up radio in Hollywood. Luckily for me the producer for the show I was working with and got me an interview for the position. I took full advantage of the facilities at the start-up station after three months of working there I began to my own radio show interviewing artist which I became to put on YouTube. My interviews excelled me to do interviews at one of the biggest hip hop festivals in the world Rolling Loud Bay area & LA. Growing my YouTube to 4k subscribers. Over 600,000 views and over 10 million impressions in less than a year has inspired me to take the next step and take my Innovators brand to the next level and make it a media company. Now I am full focused on growing my YouTube bring light to artist with interviews and many other types of content.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
My struggles along the way were finding my own path and figuring out how to be the best interviewer I could be. Finding artist to interview and being hesitant to put out content because the first impression is everything. Believing in myself and being confident was the direction I need to go to change things for myself.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I have a media platform, I do interviews for YouTube, I interview artist for different types of content festivals, documentaries, special content releases you name it. I do reactions to music videos. I have more content dropping as well so stayed tuned.

What were you like growing up?
I was born in the bay area and I rep it tough. Growing up, I was outgoing and always a leader for the most part. Family is really important to me and I always embrace my southern roots. Also representing my Haitian culture is key to me. I played football my whole life until I moved to La in 2014.
