Meet Humblebonez from Anaheim

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vince S.

So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
So we started off originally as a reggae band, Dom had the name and reggae thing going for him, which was something we wanted to do at the time, but slowly progressed towards what we are today. Dom and Vince go way back, from high school doing music back then. One day Vince drove by a street Dom lived by not having seen each other in a while and reconnected which started the beginnings of humblebonez. Humblefoos was a three-piece at first but slowly blossomed into a five-piece. We added members as we started to feel the music needed more which leads us to our huge band today. We started off just really trying to make good music and make people feel things when they heard our music.

Has it been a smooth road?
Nothing is ever smooth going, our struggles mostly stemmed from personal things, like Dom having writing blocks, or people having scheduling problems, we were all friends before the band, so we all have a clear understanding of what needs to be done, and how to execute.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Humblebonez – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
We’re a five-piece band from orange / LA county. We make music and play shows all over. Our music is all over the place, and pretty hard to determine an actual genre, at least we have a hard time doing so. We’re known for being some fun dudes and putting on an amazing show for some fun people. We’re all different and it adds to our overall sound and vibe. We’re just some humble dudes!

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
LA is great overall especially in the music scene, where people don’t even need to know who you are to groove to your jams. That’s the best part, the love, and the openness to everyone.
