Today we’d like to introduce you to Eleonora Ghioldi.
Eleonora, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Discovered photography when I was 17 years old. I fell in love with the darkroom and since then it has been my form of expression. Over the years I have worked with fine art galleries, editorial magazines and record companies. Lately, I have been working with local designers and stylist. Last year I shot my first short film called “The Gasp”. At the moment I am working on two personal multimedia projects.
Has it been a smooth road?
Sometimes it is smooth and sometimes it is not… At moments, things come up and there is a need to pause, but I always come back to my personal work.
Any predictions for the industry over the next few years?
I am not sure where the industry will be in 10 years… I think we will see more and more artists using more than just one medium to express themselves.
What would you say has been the biggest challenge for you over the course of your career?
My biggest challenge personally has been finding balance.
What would you tell someone who is just starting out?
My advice would be to explore as much as you can, give yourself time to find your real passion and go for it.
