Today we’d like to introduce you to Herbert Bennett.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am from the amazing town of Wichita Falls, Texas. I was raised by five women so I automatically had to find something things to do to keep myself entertained. Now being from Texas music is a big part of the culture that keeps the balance, no matter the genre. I started as a dancer and almost made the DJ Unk 2 step tour, but unfortunately couldn’t make the trip.
The funny part about my story is that I didn’t stumble into music until a lot later in life when I joined the Air Force. In the military rap was my main escape and I started succeeding at a very rapid pace but the resistance came when I had to PCS (change base location), so I decided to get out and take my talents to LA. I have two projects available on all platforms and the love I get back is AMAZING! Now working on my third projects and the hopes of fulfilling my dream of getting signed and living the “Rapper Dream”, everything seems really possible and I won’t stop until my vision is complete! Hopefully when it is all said and done the world will know my name.
Has it been a smooth road?
I would say the biggest obstacle I’ve had to face in my career thus far is not having the proper financial backing that is needed to stay a float in this industry but luckily my hard work and creativity has giving me the ability to maneuver through situations as if there was no problem at all.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
Zach Flowers can do it all from performing concert sets, hosting events and being a podcast personality. Mostly I specialize in performing. People really gravitate towards my energy and love how infectious it is to be around it. The thing I’m really proud of is that I have the ability to temporarily put smiles on peoples faces and take them away from their own personal problems. I believe the thing that sets me apart from my competition is that I do what I do for the love 1st then money 2nd. I don’t mind letting someone have the spotlight when it’s called for, I will Always manage to find a way to shine even as a supporting cast without taking away from the bigger picture and not many people have that or they develop later in life.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I do feel like LA is a great place to thrive as a businessman, it has treated me very lovely! I love the opportunities I have been able to come across but I would only recommend someone else to move here depending on their current situation. It is very easy to get distracted and complacent in a beautiful city like this.
