Today we’d like to introduce you to Henry Pulido.

Laguna Liquid Juice Beverages was born as an advocate for change. The foodservice industry continues to operate in a beverage vacuum of the 1990’s – Providing sugary carbonated sodas with little to no choice for consumers.

Laguna Liquid Juice Beverages is striving to disrupt the establishment and deliver great tasting, healthier fountain drinks to convenience stores, independent and national restaurants, hotels and other institutions.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Our story is the stereotypical Davey and Goliath tale. As a startup organization of just a couple of years, we have entered a battleground long held by global soda brands. Multi-billion-dollar budgets, established distribution and iconic brands are just a few of the challenges we face from our competition. However, the folks at Laguna Liquid are passionate in our mission to bring freedom of choice to the consumer.

Change begins with action and we are working every day to help disrupt the status quo.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Laguna Liquid Juice Beverages story. Tell us more about the business.
As a beverage company, Laguna Liquid Juice Beverages produces a line of great tasting, healthier beverages that plug into soda fountain programs. Our products are crafted with natural fruit juices, typically have about half the calories and sweetener levels than a traditional soda and offer unique flavor profiles like Pomegranate Berry, Watermelon Cucumber and Blood Orange Tangerine.

We take pride in producing our beverages with premium quality ingredients.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Certainly, there are good and bad breaks that happen in both business and life. However, in our business we prefer to look at luck a bit differently. We believe we need to participate in “the game”. i.e. – if we are not competing in the space, we cannot invoke or be a catalyst for change. By operating our vision, we hope to create our own lucky breaks.
