Today we’d like to introduce you to Henry Hartounian.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I have been a hard worker all my life. I worked in a number of different industries prior to working in the auto transport industry. Along the way, I have absorbed traits that I feel is important when conducting business with a client. I never cut corners or tried to string along my customers with lies no matter what industry I was in.
After working a number of different jobs, I decided it was time to start my own company. I have since been in business for over 5 years with an A+ rating with the BBB, 5 star rating on Transportreviews.com and Yelp, as well as 100% positive rating on dispatch.
I will continue to strive for excellence in what I do and how my customers are treated. I will make sure my customers are always satisfied no matter how many extra miles I need to go for them.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has been smooth because we have been transparent with our customers during the process. Nothing in life can always be perfect, especially when conducting business with truck drivers. So, there here have been some challenges we have faced. However, we have been able to work through those challenges with our customers by being honest and upfront simply to overcome whatever obstacles we have to go through together.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Coastal Car Transport – what should we know?
Established in 2012.
Auto Transport is an overwhelming and high-risk obstacle to coordinate. After hearing about so many different individuals getting ripped off by reputable companies, Coastal Car Transport felt the need to give security to those looking to ship their vehicles.
Whether it be thirty miles or three thousand miles, people were frightened and feeling uneasy about shipping their cars.
Coastal Car Transport was a bit disenchanted about the industry altogether. We came up with a plan to make shipping a vehicle not so difficult.
Whether moving to a new place, or parting with a son daughter that is either going to college or enlisting in the military, auto transport should not be an unpleasant objective.
With the passion to help people and take the stress and fear off of the transport all together, backed with experience to be prepared for the potential issues, Coastal Car Transport was born.

I can’t ever say I deserve all the credit. I have had countless people that I have absorbed knowledge from over the years as well as mentors and acquaintances that have helped me along the way in guiding me toward the right direction no matter what I chose to do.
Aside from them, all of the great dispatchers and hard-working drivers also deserve credit. The drivers work hard and I give praise to them because of it. This is a very tough industry, but we have some great people in it.
