Today we’d like to introduce you to Heather Williams.
Heather, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Twig & Twine began as a studio based florist doing weddings and events (started in 2010). We opened a retail location in the fall of 2013 that offers flowers, gifts, home decor and other sundries.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
As a small business owner you are constantly learning. No major struggles but always a few bumps and hills.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Twig & Twine story. Tell us more about the business.
We offer floral design services for events of all size. We were primarily known for our wedding work to start but after opening a shop our work has branched out a bit. We also offer deliveries, walk in bouquets/arrangements, weekly services, etc. In addition to flowers our store also houses gifts, home decor, jewelry, plants, books and other goods. The perfect place to pop in for a little something for yourself or a friend.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I wouldn’t say I have good luck in life but with enough persistence and hard work I’ve been able to make things work.
