Meet Danielle Goldey and Steve Nemeth of Goldey & Nemeth Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Goldey and Steve Nemeth.

Steve Nemeth has been a licensed real estate broker and Realtor for over 25 years. He started in the real estate industry just a few years before the 1990 recession. Steve gained invaluable experience selling real estate in a challenging marketplace. His dedication to hard work is evidenced by the multitude of successful transactions and accolades: clients refer him, agents praise him and the industry acknowledges him with awards. Steve is consistently A Top Producer at REMAX Grand! His annual Listing and Sales production places him in one of the top two spots every year.

Danielle is a Realtor with over 20 years of experience in marketing & advertising and uses that knowledge for her client’s listings. She grew up in the industry because her mom was a real estate broker. By age 7, Danielle had learned to read the Thomas Guide and was sitting at open houses; she even had a dog named Escrow. While her friends were playing with dollhouses, she created a system for everyone to trade them each month and helped them move. This has to be the first dollhouse time-share plan. Real Estate is in her blood, marketing is in her brain. “She got Bono’s attention, can she get yours?”

While attending office meetings at Re/Max Grand, our headquarters, we quickly realized that we have complimentary skill sets and we’re like a perfect Venn diagram.

Danielle has the social media, marketing and technology while Steve provides the knowledge of contracts, vetted real estate vendors (Title companies, Home Inspectors, Escrow and other agents), as well as the experience of the subtleties of the industry through hundreds of closed transactions.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The forming of our team has been relatively smooth because our principles and work ethic were already aligned. In a commission driven industry, where agents often lose sight of the human aspect of the transaction, we pride ourselves in putting client’s needs as the top priority.

Our industry tends to be dynamic, which is evident by the daily question “How’s the market?” The challenge is prioritizing which market trends, consumer desires and new technology are best.

We aim to be vigilant in staying ahead of the competition by being pre-emptive in spotting these opportunities.

We help, guide and advise buyer and sellers on the sale of a home. We are REALTORS. Not all real estate agents are REALTORS. We belong to the National Association of Realtors, which means we must abide by a code of conduct and ethics.

We specialize in the sale of residential real estate. House, condo, townhouse, duplex, triplex or an apartment building, we sell all of these types of residential real estate.

We are the “Agents Who Answer”. We are known for being accessible and paying attention to detail. All of our clients have commented about that. Whether they email, text, or call we answer promptly.

Our past clients leave rave reviews and recommend us to friends. Helping buyers, who never thought they could own a home, be part of the American dream, home ownership.

We speak to our clients, not just before and during the transaction. We don’t just advise, we engage. We explain why we make the recommendations that we advise. We stay in touch long afterward.

Our team is cohesive and each person plays integral role to for a smooth transaction from to start to close. The main focus of our team is our communication and transparency. We have many people working behind the scenes and our clients have access to everyone. However, we try to streamline the process by keeping the two principles (Danielle & Steve) as the only ones they NEED to reach out to. This way we can answer all questions promptly. Within our team, each person knows what their own responsibilities are as well as the role of others. We are more like an orchestra and each transaction will have either Danielle or Steve as the conductor.

Our clients and connections also vary from Steve’s referrals of 25 years and Danielle’s LGBTQ community. We don’t specialize or farm an “area”. Instead we specialize in people and catering to the need and desires of our clients. If we can drive there, we will handle it. If we can’t easily access the area, we will vet out an agent who can and we will behind the scenes of the transaction if it appeases our clients.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
We have found that the harder we work, the luckier we get. We got lucky that we were both working at the same agency but it wasn’t luck that we bonded.

Individually, we were each approached by other agents to work with them, which essentially meant to “help them”. Steve had won #1 producer several times and is a nice guy so several people had asked him to be their mentor. As for Danielle, when people found out about her marketing and technology background, people wanted free advice and help but never offered anything in return. When Steve approached Danielle and said, “Let’s go to lunch so we can pick each other’s brains”, we found each other!

We are the #1 team at Re/Max Grand. Agents want to join our team and other agencies have tried to lure us over. Maybe you can consider that lucky, but we think it’s our work ethic karma.
