Meet Eva Macias

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eva Macias.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
We all thrive when we realize our life’s passion, and I am so grateful that I have found mine as a financial expert. I am a strong believer of living in abundance and committed to sharing my gift with the world. I believe most of our life and school experience has not given us the proper financial background to support us to our financial goals.

Having my clients have a strong understanding of the financial basics has been the foundation of my work. After learning that my parents were retiring with just $1,100, I decided to dedicate my life to teaching women and working families how to achieve financial freedom. We are committed to “leveling the financial playing field” for all families so that everyone can reach their financial goals.

My specialty is breaking down a financial strategy to its simplest form. As a Latina woman, I feel we need more resources and more education. We need to change the culture and mentality of how to handle your money, being less dependent on someone else for your finances, and understanding the level of priorities for your finances to work in your favor — learning to work smarter, not harder.

I love contributing to the community and giving back, it is a big part of my life. Today, I am a #1 best selling author (A Latina’s Guide to Money), a public speaker, a teacher (Financial Bootcamp), and continue to work individually with women and their families to achieve their financial goals.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I knew nothing about the industry, I didn’t know how or where to start a business. I didn’t have any money to start a business. I’ve had a lot of rejections, closed doors, and old personal “baggage” I needed to clear out.

From being sued, my house almost foreclosed on, repossessed vehicles, not knowing where my next meal was going to be taught me the discipline and commitment to the vision of it’s bigger than my circumstances.

So yes we can say I’ve had some struggles, but I overcame them and am grateful to be where I am today – ABSOLUTELY!

We’d love to hear more about what you do.
Eva Macias is a powerful leader and sought-after speaker in the financial industry. Eva’s specialty is helping women create a “simple-to-follow” financial plan in 60 minutes or less. Some financial services firms will decide whether to work with you or not based on your income level and net worth.

I, on the other hand, believe that all working families deserve access to the same financial information that few families receive. Eva Macias & Associates is a financial and insurance service marketing firm representing, not just one, but many of the largest and most well respected financial services companies in the world. One thing I am very proud of what people think of me as a Financial Guru – when people think of money, they think of me! I am very proud of creating Financial Bootcamp, a five-week transformational, life-changing, eye-opening course/platform that allows being both vulnerable and confident with their finances and life all at the same time.

I am very proud of my book – A Latina’s Guide to Money. A modern day approach to money for not only women but Latina women who also get to be successful with their finances.
