Meet Elizabeth Victoria

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elizabeth Victoria.

Hi Elizabeth, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started photography nearly 14 years ago. I began selling images on stock photography websites and became fairly successful in the industry. One of the larger stock photography companies noticed my success and invited me out to New York to speak at a conference on how to succeed in the field. Not long after that, I began photographing weddings more frequently and soon my focus shifted almost exclusively to wedding and event photography.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Learning how to be a one woman show can be overwhelming at times. There is always something to do and so many different ways to accomplish the tasks. Focusing and organizing the structure of my workflow is still, to this day a constant evolution. There are aspects to being a wedding photographer that come completely natural to me, as are certain parts of running the business in general, yet so much was and still is a learning process. Understanding best marketing practices and implementing them in the most efficient way is a constant challenge.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a wedding photographer who loves bright, colorful, vivid images. It’s important to me to capture the love between my clients as well as the gorgeous location they chose for their wedding day. I believe I’m known for creating beautiful, crisp images that don’t look like every other wedding photograph. I’ve had several past and current wedding clients tell me that they love my work because it’s unique and not like everything else they’ve seen, and it makes me proud to know that what I strive for in my images is being noticed.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I’m kind of an open book and feel like most people might know some of this but here’s a few interesting bits about me… 1. I’m a certified paragliding pilot. 2. I’m fluent in American Sign Language. 3. I’ve saved three people’s lives on three separate occasions, none related.
