Meet Eldrick “BanGeraXii” Kennedy of Bag Runner’s Committee

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eldrick “BanGeraXii” Kennedy.

Eldrick. let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started off as a child looking at my father dance to all the old school music. It very well rubbed off on me as I then started to realize at a young age that music moved me. Music is not only entertainment, but it’s a way of life, with music being a way of life; it influences many people in many aspects of life; rather good or bad.

At the age of eight, I started rapping little corny lyrics lol, me and my best friend Jotavious Scott actually came up with a label for our neighborhood called “ Real Goons Ent” lol man was we something serious about our business without having knowledge of anything. We held on to that for quite a while but realizing being in the spotlight really wasn’t my intentions, I never took rapping seriously. I knew I wanted to change lives through music, but I just wasn’t about the life of “FAME.”

At age 14, I started hanging out with a few guys from our high school band which later came to be they rapped and made beats. I sat down every session looking at how cosmo structured a blank canvas with nothing but pure hits! It really amazed me, I then went purchase my first laptop from the pawn shop. The cheapest one I could’ve got, it was in ROOOOUGH condition man lol, but I was able to download that free Fl Studio software. Once I got to start up on my laptop, I stayed on it!

I never went to any after school junctions, hanging out was a no go, I lived in my room on that laptop! Everyday and even till this day I perfect my crafts and thank my angels for the blessings of this talent I have that can possibly change the world one day! After many years of sending beats and networking to get placements, I sat down one day and realized that I could change this “chasing” to “building.” How can you make a change in anything if you’re not effectively implementing the power you have to manifest/create that change?

So staring my own label was the first prosperous idea that I thought of. It’s hurtful to see these artists get ripped off their talents because of some worthless VP behind the curtains whose money hungry. I refuse to put myself through that, and I refuse to see it continue to happen. My long time brother and business partner Mike will be operating a “committee.” The reason if committee instead of “label” is because refuse to give off and or present ourselves in any way that reflects a major label. We’re a family here, this isn’t a slavery system.

We work together, and we get results together, PERIOD! We will be home to managers, A&r’s, producers, artists, songwriters, photographers, videographers, you name it! We are and forever will be as one even when different opportunities present itself! 2019 is going to be the beginning of abundance in many forms because we will work for what’s to be rewarded!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s been a very challenging journey from the beginning even until now, but for the most part, I keep my outlook optimistic! I’m the one that seeks the positive in every negative. It’s one major way of making through this jacked up the industry.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
We specialize in everything that will put not only ourselves but the next man in position to achieve and sustain.

We are a production company, but like I said whatever this industry has to offer for us we are going after it in our very own well-structured way of mastering what we do and being proficient at what we do!

What sets us apart is that we don’t look for what everyone else is achieving, we’re tunneled vision to our own success, and I mean that in the utmost respectful way!

What were you like growing up?
I’ve always been open mined, one thing that I always knew for sure was that I was going to be something. I was going to do something with my life, and I was going to enjoy doing it while I proceeded selfless service.

I’ve always been interested in seeing what the world has to offer and with that offer in the air, what’s my true potential behind achieving those offers. I’ve always been determined and still determined, I’m just more wise.
