Meet Driven Out

Today we’d like to introduce you to Driven Out. Them and their team share their story with us below:

The group is made of childhood friends that were inspired by the recent events of covid. Watching everything unfold in the world put a lot into perspective and pushed the members of this group to really ask themselves if they were living their life’s purpose. They were inspired to inspire others to pursue their dreams in the one life we get to live.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Obviously, covid has also presented challenges with shutdowns and mandates. Through these struggles, the group has still worked hard on booking venues and sharing their message. It’s always about having a positive mindset and finding a solution.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We are in love with our music and storytelling. Creating a whole new and separate world that our audience can get lost in. Our goal is to create a moment in time that people will look back on fondly. We believe we are born entertainers and love engaging with people. We love all art and contributing to art the best we can. We are proud of our consistent action and how far it has gotten us in a little amount of time. We just started performing last month and so many new opportunities have presented themselves through keeping the momentum going and just moving one foot in front of the other. Again, it’s all about seeking solutions. We created our album from an at home studio with no help from anyone other than the members of the band. We now have that album on all streaming services and has helped us get further in our music career. We created our own event that we were able to host and have other bands play. We created our own tour that had us traveling from California to Nevada. This group has brought us closer. We started seeing our friends pursuing their dreams a little bit more. Some even in the field of music themselves!

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
Just how communication is key, true leadership is a must, and keeping your tribe together is most important.
