Today we’d like to introduce you to David Kamjoo.

David, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started about 7 years ago when my sister’s dental office needed a website. She had injured with several website development companies who had quoted her extremely very high costs. Since I had international experience, and I knew many large companies outsource their IT work, I decided to start finding some overseas developers. To my surprise, not only was I able to find a quality developer, but nearly half the cost! I figured, why not provide the same or even higher level of quality service, but with more competitive pricing. That’s when I started SacredCowStudios.com.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No, it definitely wasn’t the smoothest process. Imagine working with overseas developers who are 12 to 15 hours ahead and not very FLUENT. This meant a lot of late night to early morning conversations, lots of Skype, and lots of back and forth emails trying to clarify what was really needed. It took about a year or so before I really understood how they worked and how to manage the projects. Now, before I even begin, I have a list of qualified and vetted developers who I have worked with before and know their capabilities. In fact, they receive a detailed project plan and we have review calls before they begin. I hold as each developer to their proposed milestones and ensure they understand the requirements before they begin.

I love what I do. In fact, I treat each project like it’s my own. Here at SacredCowStudios.com, we special in website and phone application development. This means we help companies developer their online and phone application presence to help them generate more business. We develop almost any type of website, including e commerce, medical, legal, business, blogs, and almost anything else. And if there is a project we can’t do, trust me, I’ll make sure I tell the client.

What I am most proud of has been the clients and their feedback throughout the last 7 years. We are one of the top rated website development providers on Yelp, with nearly 38 Five Star reviews. We really strive to make the clients happy with the final product.

There are quite a few things that There are separate us from many other companies, but I’ll mention the ones that I am very passionate about. Firstly, I never give a price until I understand the entire scope of the project. That means myself and the client will either discuss in person or via phone to go through the project. During the review session, I will even provide recommendations for things that would improve the project. Secondly, I am available almost any time of the day. Whether it’s 7 AM or 11 PM during the weekday or even on weekends, you can always call me, text me, or email, and I guarantee a response back. Yes, my wife hates it, but my clients are important to me. And finally, we work on a milestone payment system. This means that we take an initial deposit payment, and the client then only pays once we have fully completed each milestone and the client is happy. I have heard so many horror stories where clients paid a company even half or full, to find that the person later disappeared with their money.

My first credit goes out to my sister. If she had never even approached or asked me to and help I would have never started this company.

My second and most important cheerleader is my wife. She is always pushing me and telling me to make sure that my clients are always happy. She’s very supportive and I love her for that.

And lastly, I have to thank all my team and developers who have helped grow this company. They have always provided the support in providing quality service to my clients. They have always continued to be responsive. And they have continued to help me grow the company.
