Meet Danny Lee, AKA Muva Saturn

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danny Lee.

Danny, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’ve had clairvoyant gifts for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a Caribbean family, ritual and contact with spirit was a key part of our practices. My parents would often take us to get energetic cleansing and psychic readings done by family friends. They would all tell me the same thing about who I was destined to be when I grew up: a model and a healer. As soon as I moved to the San Gabriel Valley at age 19, I was enrolled in school and consistently booking modeling gigs in LA. Around the same time, I began taking my own spiritual practice seriously—learning about consciousness, my ancestors, connecting to spirit through meditation, and healing the body with earth elements (crystals and herbs.) It wasn’t long before I felt called to read oracle and tarot cards. I have been studying and practicing oracle and tarot for about three years now. Since officially starting my business in November 2019, I’ve had multiple opportunities to offer my services on a donation basis at creative+healing events around Los Angeles. In addition to opening my online services, I was also hired as a reader at Dual Crossroads—a metaphysical shop in South Pasadena!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road had potholes and bumps for sure. The journey of spiritual healing itself can be hard to understand and adapt to at first. Learning to work with the spirit while also working through PTSD, depression, and hyperthyroidism was my biggest challenge. Tarot ended up being one of the essential parts of my healing process. I booked jobs through two different boutique agencies my first two years of modeling, having left the first agency for the second agency, and the second agency for a medical leave (I did not end up returning because the agency is no longer active.) Especially with being unsigned now, more of the challenges that come with trying to book jobs as a black girl under 5’8 have been apparent.

Tell us more about you. What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I do tarot card readings. Tarot is a form of divination that I use as an extension of my own intuitive gifts to guide you through a path of healing and self-awareness. I will often use oracle cards, another form of divination, to add to tarot spreads for additional information in the reading. My style of reading is very detail-oriented, direct, and loving. I like to keep the environment I’m reading in elevated and judgment-free so as to give my clients room to express themselves as transparently as they’d like with me. When I am reading, I comb through each card’s meaning, implications, and pairings with other cards in the reading as much as I can to ensure that the client has a full understanding of where they are and where they’re going.

Taking this approach to reading cards has been extremely rewarding, especially with clients receiving the life-changing results that they do. Another thing that makes me unique as a brand is the melding of my clairvoyant services and my artistic endeavors. I feel that as an energy worker, it is essential for me to live as transparently in my truth as possible. My personal social media pages are also my business social media pages—I do this because I want people to know of the soul behind the healer.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success to me is reaching a point in your journey where you can move forward without ever thinking about having to look back because there is just that much to look forward to!
