Meet D.Lamonte’ of The Dynasty MXXII in Century City

Today we’d like to introduce you to D.Lamonte’.

D.Lamonte’, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Growing up, I always knew that I wanted to create music. The introduction to my music career was as a Producer, Songwriter and Arranger. Over the years, I solidified relationships throughout the entertainment industry with music executives and A&R reps associated with Def Jam, Universal Music Group and Quality Control Music.

Through those affiliations, I was introduced to numerous music artists, professional athletes and notable influencers which elevated my credibility and knowledge to manage artists, create content and manage brands. The opportunities that have been presented have allowed me to build a business structure for success and outsource my skills within the field of business development, including producing lifestyle apparel collections, which led me to developing my own company, The Dynasty MXXII.

My children are my purpose, drive and focus to be my very best every day. Being a single father has its challenges, but it is important to me to be the strongest role model for my son and daughter, as well as keep a positive co-parenting environment for them. They are my reason for being successful and wanting to create a legacy.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Nothing in life is going to be smooth in the beginning. The hardest part is learning that in business you’re going to make mistakes, however keeping your goals in focus and maintaining a “business first” persona will help you push through any hurdle.

In order to overcome the obstacles and challenges, you must learn from your mistakes and make proper adjustments along the way. It is important to build a team around you that offers guidance, has good resources and remains loyal in order to solidify a foundation. The Dynasty MXXII represents loyalty in order to generate ongoing success.
