Today we’d like to introduce you to Conrad Spriggs.
Conrad, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started coaching youth basketball program in 2005 after a knee injury.
I couldn’t walk for about 6 months and at that time I started going to local parks in the area just started seeing kids playing the wrong way so begin passing out Flyers in my area at local schools. A couple of kids started to show to my workout at Reseda HS. Now in 2016 the warriors basketball have over 50 players in our program thru out the years in multiple players that now play Division 1, division 2 or JC All Around the US including Serigne Athj, Juhwan Harris, Bear Henderson, Antwan Monroe.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Organizing practice schedule, games, communicating with the parents & coaching games mostly has been smooth. High school level competition against its more challenging due to the fact you playing against sponsored teams like Adidas or Nike so there’s an upside in some games. Most of the Warriors member are local player.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
