Meet Chelsea Palmer of Sunday Republic Events in Santa Clarita

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chelsea Palmer.

Chelsea, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started Sunday Republic Events in 2017. In the beginning, my focus was on event rentals and design, I started offering floral arrangements as a way to bring more attention to Sunday Republic. However, I quickly realized my passion was in floral design and I made the choice to focus my business on floral arrangements and event styling.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The wedding and event world can be a hard niche to break into. Networking can be a struggle when you feel so new and less established than your competitors. But if you keep taking chances and putting your work out there, good things will come of it.

Please tell us more about your work. What do you do? What do you specialize in? What sets you apart from competition?
Sunday Republic Events is a styling and floral company offering a unique and eclectic insight into any event.

I specialize in floral design and have had the pleasure of creating one of a kind pieces for weddings, baby showers, bridal showers, corporate events, and more.

I believe my ability to really listen to what a client is looking for and to take my expertise and design experience to help create a unique experience, tailored to the client’s needs and vision.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I had to start over, I would have listened to my intuition and focus on floral design from the beginning. I worried too much about what people would think and where I would fit in instead of focusing on where my passion kept leading me.
