Meet Chelsea Leifken in Hancock Park

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chelsea Leifken.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Chelsea. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I was an artist all throughout my upbringing — and then life happened — as it does. Through my teens and early twenties — like most of us do — I struggled with anxiety, depression, booze, boys and binge eating. After graduating FIDM LA, my world collapsed around me. I was left with an incredible education — but really struggled to find, love and celebrate myself.

Through my years of self-discovery in taking myself from breakdown to breakthrough — I created a series of tools and techniques that make up the basis of my teachings. A decade later — I now creatively share my self-love journey to inspire others.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It was a smooth road when I started to follow MY voice. I always knew I wanted to create to inspire and when I starting speaking from a place of authenticity — doors flew open! The problem is that people try to be like [him or her.] It sounds so cliché but — you’re best at being YOU.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with CHELSEA LEIFKEN – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I am an artist, creative director/designer, and inspirational speaker. My work promotes self-love, authenticity and unfiltered happiness. Along with my signature lettering and namesake collection — I also create content for conscious brands [i.e. Lululemon] and collaborate with others [i.e. Ujjayi + Paper Epiphanies] to spread my message of love and light!

What am I most proud of? Women telling me I’ve inspired them. From something like cutting their hair shorter — or moving Cross County for a life they always imagined.

I think what sets me apart is — I’m just ME. I’ve grown organically because people can see when someone is standing in the light of exactly who they are. It’s been magical.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
HUGE plans for the future! I plan to continue to collaborate with nonprofits, organizations, and communities to empower and educate women everywhere. I am in the midst of writing a book! A book that inspires women to stand in their light and create their most beautiful reality!
