Meet Chef Three of MunchieMadness in Compton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chef Three.

Chef, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Well, the business actually started this year February 11th, 2019. I’ve always been into cooking I use to just do it for myself and my family. Growing my father and I use to watch Chef Emiril that’s my father’s favorite chef.

Around January I was looking for another a job and I went to an interview and saw a picture I can’t remember exactly what it is said but it was a picture of a man with a Ferrari and in quotes it said something like “show up everyday and keep working hard so I can have one of these” not you but him and I had already been tired of working for other people and investing my time into their company when I can be using that time to build something in my own. So seeing that really set the tone for me to just start doing my own thing as well as my brothers and others always telling me I should sell my food because not in does it look good it taste good.

So one day my brothers and I were in a session just talking about it and I went out the next day bought food to make nachos and from there the venture started. I posted my first menu the night before in February 10th, and I wasn’t even sure how if people were going to fuck with me or not but the menu did numbers I’m talking about 125+ RTs favorites and that wasn’t even including the quote tweets and the following did we sold out. Today is December 24th and I am proud of where we are in such a short time and how many people really tap in and fuck with me I love it because I love doing this it’s not only for me it’s for the people I want everyone to love the food and just enjoy a good time even if it’s bad you can always tell me that’s just let’s me know what I need to improve on all criticism is good.

Has it been a smooth road?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth ride because there where times that I’ve had to cancel cooking sessions last minute bc something came up or there was an emergency or a piece of equipment wasn’t working l. One time I got shit down by the city because I wasn’t Safe Serve Certified and etc.. so I had to shut down that day of service. Sometimes if I don’t shop at the right time, I end up it being able to get what I need for the day and have to cancel because the store is out for the moment.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with MunchieMadness – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
Well, we are MunchieMadness, we cook munchie foods and like appetizer type things but they are most definitely fillers. Don’t get me wrong we can definitely do fine dining type of food but that is not the pallet we have chose our spotlight is more towards the late night crowd or lunch type. Currently, we are known for our Wings, Pasta & Tacos those are our current hitters with the people of someone right now was to ask you have you been to by MunchieMadness they would bring one of the three up if not all three. We are proud most proud in the time we take to prep the food and the love that is put into every plate because we feed the people how we would feed ourself if we were at home cooking for ourself. What sets me apart from others is that aside from the money I arm doing this because it’s what I love to do like I really genuinely love cooking it’s like I’m in my own world and can’t nobody touch me when I’m there.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love my city like every city it has its ups downs. I just More so wish we could work own being more with each other then do lashed out against one another worried about the wrong things when we could all be getting money together, it would be a lot easier and better if we united and did it as a whole rather then apart h know.
