Meet Chaee Eulenaa in North Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chaee Eulenaa.

Before we jump into specific questions about your work, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Growing up, I’ve always been very creative and crafty. I’ve enjoyed many hobbies and activities such as drawing, Dancing, poetry, and photography. I was never a professional doing those things but I did enjoy them. I was never a huge girly girl in my teenage years, I didn’t really like dresses, skirts or wearing make up. I thought it was too much. The most I would wear is eyeliner, mascara, and maybe lipstick when I went out. . What I was into very much was doing Hair. From 2015 – 2017 I attended Lattc’s cosmetology program. I did enjoy that program, I enjoyed hairstyling, haircutting, and coloring the most. They taught us skin, nails, and a very small portion of make up. I hated the makeup at the time, I didn’t understand it nor knew what to do with it. I was a bit discouraged doing with makeup.

2016 I had an interest in practicing makeup on my self. I was never terrible at it but fairly new at it. Once I discovered I wasn’t too bad at it, I attempted to record it using my cell phone with the very small storage that I had so issued the Snapchat app. I decided to put all the video footage that I had together and make one full video. I decided to put it on YouTube. When I showed my Hair coloring and teacher Ms. Shack, she suggested that I put a sheet or blanket behind me for a backdrop. From there I really started to enjoy creating YouTube videos and practicing make up on myself, I only got better.

January 2019 I started to attend “Elegance International professional school of makeup” in Hollywood. One of the best schools I’ve ever been to. I’ve learning different areas of makeup. I enjoyed it all and by this time I loved doing makeup, and recording myself while doing it.. I knew I found my passion. I finished my program Dec 2019. Although I was licensed, January 2020 the start of my career professionally and full time. I’ve gotten a new job at Sephora as a licensed beauty advisor and now apart of an amazing team, working at Concrete Studios La with the Amazing Photographer, Derrick Rodgers. I do enjoy what I do.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest struggle for me was getting rid of my fear and stop being afraid. It was also very difficult w getting noticed by other known influencers or company brands. It is also tough to get opportunities. Starting, you won’t have very much on your resume. You could be very talented and people will judge you off that without seeing your work or meeting you.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I am a licensed beauty advisor and Makeup artist. I love working with different people, faces, and challenging myself. What sets me apart from others is simple my technique and. The connection I like to have with my clients. The connection and vibe I have with my clients are pure and comes natural. I want to make my clients feel comfortable, I like to compliment them, and most of all, make them feel beautiful and happy as ever.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I feel like this is just a beginning for me and my career. The proudest moment I’ve had so far is getting my position at Sephora and becoming a part of the concrete Studios team. Both these moments meant so very much to me because these opportunities have been all I ever wanted. Hearing a well known published photographer tell me how great my work blew me away, I was so shocked.
