Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittney Kincannon.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
After not having a photograph of my sister and I after she had passed away in a car accident, I began my love and obsession for documenting the people I loved. Years later after the loss of my uncle, I remember clinging to the photograph of him and I. It was the last photo we took together. I remember how much peace that photograph brought me in my time of grieving. That’s when I graduated with my college degree and Kincannon Photography began.
Please tell us about your art.
We specialize in capturing memories while offering clients a way to turn them into tangible portraits, because we believe that your photographs weren’t meant to only live on a usb drive or in a digital capacity, as those aren’t designed to last generations.
After a client session we walk them through prints, canvases, and album to help them choose how they’d be like to preserve their photographs and enjoy them for years to come.
What do you think is the biggest challenge facing artists today?
Staying true to yourself as an artist instead of what everyone else thinks.
How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?
