Meet Bill Mahon of Bill Mahon Photo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bill Mahon.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Bill. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My professional photographer career started the summer of eighth grade, was focused in on through high school, knee deep in college at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, Ca. and establish my headquarters in Sacramento, California in 1992. I studied under three of the historic photography greats; Walter C Douglas, Paul Giddings and Ted Sirlin. These three impacted my mind and understanding like no other and I continue to exercise wisdom passed on by them, today. I have continued to press on with existing, current and future technology and have survived by consistent, professional service and expertise. In the last three years, we have ventured hard into video, multimedia and aerial drone services. These three areas have more than doubled our business and have been a great addition to our still photography. My future is bright with a lot of hope and excitement for what is to come. Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Smooth? No… Many many bumps, curves and constant evolution. I have had to be flexible, see current and future trend and evolve as the times and demands have changed. The future is at hand and any new or half way into their career professional will need to venture quickly and add several arms of business such as photo/video/multimedia /aerial drone to survive.
