Today we’d like to introduce you to Belle K. Bromfield.
Belle, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was a ten-year-old brown-eyed girl staring at a gorgeous woman on the television in my living room in the hills of Jamaica.
I remember saying to my aunt that I wanted to be her when I grow up. My aunt replied, her name is Halle Berry, she is a model now an actress. I said I want to be a model.
Moving to California, yes, straight to LA from Jamaica as my mom had already lived here for over a decade and loved it! Yes you heard it right, straight from yard (Jamaica),to Los Angeles. Florida nor New York wouldn’t be an option for my and sister and I as those are where most Jamaicans usually live when they first migrate to the States.
My mom started taking me on go-sees what seemed immediately after settling in. My modeling career started at 16 years old.
From Runways to tear sheets to dabbling into acting, touring with a musical play for six years, I would get asked by so many girls that looked like me how did I get an agent? How did I get a manager? How did land that job, and this job? After eight years of being a talent, I had an epiphany that I wanted to help those that looked like me get their career on the right track. And so, I began to seek it out what would actually look like.
I went from being an assistant at an agency to being running a department in eight months. I had a knack for it, actually, I loved it.
After four years of being a Talent Agent, I started my Management firm. Ten years later, here I am today, managing talent, developing and producing content for tv & film.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Taking the road less traveled is never ever ever a smooth ride, LOL!
My faith though kept me going. Actually to be correct taking the road less traveled strengthened my faith and my walk with God. I had to Trust Him for Everything including decisions being made about my business.
Year 2-5 (three years), I felt as though I was revamping the strategies I implemented because I wasn’t seeing the results I wanted. It was frustrating, but invigorating at the same time because I refused to be stuck. It was important for me to not do the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result. I believe Einstein called that insanity.
After three years of that, it finally started to stick and it was at year 6, that I began to build out my team. The road less traveled started to not feel so lonely.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I didn’t necessarily know I was a leader until I had to lead. I didn’t always know all that was inside me until I was thrown into the trenches and adapted quickly.
With that being said, being passionate about my purpose is very instrumental in my journey to success. In addition to being passionate, one must be a Visionary; for the Bible says where there is no vision the people perish. In order to lead effectively, one must have a Vision.
My ability to learn quickly is also very instrumental in my journey.”I don’t know” is an unacceptable answer when people are depending on you to guide them in the right direction. What I didn’t know, I quickly found out because I had to build this business brick by brick and it couldn’t be in ignorance.
To be good at what I do, I had to be sharp and knowledgeable.
And last but not least, it’s important to be kind, compassionate and empathetic, for everyone is fighting a battle we may know nothing about.
