Meet Ashley Paige of Ashley Paige Collective

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Paige.

So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started modeling as a teenager in Las Vegas where I grew up. Modeling and things like art, creativity, style, hair, and makeup didn’t come naturally to me, in fact they were all a foreign language. After graduating from high school, I went to Cosmetology school at Paul Mitchell the School Phoenix, where I learned how to do hair & makeup. I’ve always been a tomboy at heart. Art & creativity was something I learned along the way. Toward the end of Cosmetology school, I really unlocked something in me I never knew was there. I discovered I am an artist to the core.

I picked up modeling again when I was 20-ish and started shooting and participating in runway shows. During that time, I was also assisting at one of the top salons in Arizona apprenticing under a global platform artist while staying very involved in the fashion community doing hair, makeup, and modeling at various fashion shows and photoshoots.

While on set, I would always help the other models dress and put together outfits, and this started another venture of wardrobe styling. In 2017 I was introduced to Phoenix Fashion Week and was selected to have a full runway show of my own within their Spring Into Style show. I won the title of Stylist Of the Year 2017 with that show and competed again in 2018 & 2019 and have been on their style team as a Style Team Leader for the past three years.

Since my win in 2017, I have fully branded myself as a wardrobe stylist in addition to everything else I do thanks to Phoenix Fashion Week and Luxe & City’s support. Ashley Paige Collective is now a full-service creative company that can support any client with hair, makeup, modeling, wardrobe styling, creative direction, photography, social media influencing, content creation, runway and event production, and more. I currently work full time at The Bespoke Salon in Old Town Scottsdale, where I work as a hair and makeup artist.

Every step in my journey has to lead me to another creative outlet, and I am thankful for every opportunity, good and bad, that has come along. I work very hard and will only continue to grow. My next venture is blogging & YouTube! I am eager to share the knowledge I have in various fields and learn to create in another way!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Definitely not! If life has a smooth road, then you aren’t living!

Building a clientele, learning my worth, not being afraid to ask for it, trying new things, learning how to properly lead, accepting I wasn’t ready to lead, letting go of ego, failing, and growing from those failures. Learning that not everyone is who they say they are and to trust myself and trust what people show you over what they say to you.

The biggest struggle is always with communication with people. Learn to communicate properly, and it avoids a lot of troubles and heartaches in business and in personal relationships!

I embrace challenges because being uncomfortable leads to growth. Mindset is everything, with the right perspective any struggle can become an opportunity.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Ashley Paige Collective – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.

I co-host & develop various fashion industry events with the initiative to bring creatives together to collaborate & grow. There I get to connect with many individuals and do what I can to help other’s talents develop & shine. Bringing others to light has always been something of great importance to me.

In addition to all I participate in the fashion & hair industry, philanthropy & advocacy is also another important part of my brand. I help develop various charity events within the fashion community to raise funds and awareness to various causes that are close to my heart.

What sets Ashley Paige Collective apart from others is that I have a very skilled knowledge and talent in various fields. I am always an asset in the field because I have an eye for the entire vision, not just a single aspect. I wouldn’t say I am a master at any one thing. I believe I am well versed in many things and always growing and perfecting my skills.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Coming soon I am taking a leap into the blogging and YouTube lane. I’m looking forward to the challenge. It will be linked to my website, which is currently under construction, but will be www.ashleypaigecollective.com

Aside from that, I like to stay as present as possible, and while sure there are things I am hopeful for in the future, I try not to focus too far ahead of the now. Things are constantly evolving and as long as I am doing the most to the best of my ability every day while allowing myself space to just be, I am more than happy.
