Meet Ashley Bradley of Purpose & Prosper in Orange

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Bradley.

Ashley, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I was that person who really wanted to find their passion and purpose in life from a young age, but I had a really hard time figuring it out. I always thought it was funny that people tell you to do what you’re passionate about, but it is so much harder than it seems!

I tried on a handful of careers and industries all throughout my 20’s and one of those was executive recruiting. After talking to thousands of people about their job, I became hyper aware that so many people were unfulfilled in their careers.

After some soul searching and purpose finding of my own, I made the decision three years ago to take the leap of starting my own business as a coach!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like most business owners will tell you, the first year as a business owner really challenged me. My biggest challenge of coping with rejection and failure was a huge area of personal growth for me.

I make it a point to always be working a coach of my own. This has helped to explore different perspectives when I do run into obstacles, and has helped me to stay focused on my bigger vision for my business. As a result, I’ve gotten to where I am a lot faster and with less resistance than I could have on my own!

Please tell us about Purpose & Prosper.
Purpose & Prosper is all about helping women connect with their intuition, align with their purpose and to find financial success doing work that is deeply important to them.

As a coach, I work with my clients to help them find their own answers by asking powerful and thought provoking questions. During our sessions, I offer structures, tools and observations that will support their discovery, and I hold the focus of their larger vision to ensure that this process is moving them forward toward what brought them to coaching in the first place.

My coaching style is about diving deep below the surface to explore the inner world – the place where we create our reality. Together, we look closely at underlying beliefs, inner critics and old stories that are no longer serving. With radical truth and tons of playfulness and curiosity, we co-create an energy that supports and empowers you you throughout your self-discovery and journey forward.

I am known for being highly intuitive, and this is something that creates a unique experience for my clients. My session agendas are not pre-planned and I allow my intuition to guide the process. Sometimes it is seeing something about the client, or having a strong visual image come into my mind. Other times I’m guided toward questions to ask, or directions to go that deepen the experience for the individual. I offer my intuition without interpretation, and I actually believe that this opens the door for them to develop their own intuition rather than looking for answers outside of themselves.

Everyday, I am filled with gratitude that I get to do this work. I’m proud to have a business that is changing the world – and I truly believe that. Each time a person makes a conscious choice to align with their purpose and to do what makes them feel completely fulfilled, our world becomes a better place with another person out there doing amazing world changing things!

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
That’s a hard one – there are so many!

I think it would be the endless amounts of time I spent choreographing dance routines with my sister and BFF from grade school. Spice Girls and TLC were our main go-to’s!
