Meet Ariella Tautua

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ariella Tautua. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Ariella Tautua; stylist, creative director, and owner of Ariella Faith. Motivated by her two children, Ariella Tautua continues to make her presence felt in the fashion industry. The self-named brand speaks of Ariella’s devotion, to herself, her clients, and most importantly to her family.

By the age of 18, a former native of Hawai’i, Ariella was a mother of two beautiful children – the joy, purpose, and inspiration of her life. With the odds stacked against her, Ariella prevailed, prepared to be a powerhouse in fashion.

Ariella Tautua is making a recognizable name for herself in the fashion industry becoming Fashion Group International of Greater Washington, DC Rising Star for the stylist category.

From her humble beginnings as a teen mother, Ariella Faith has managed to achieve the impossible, proving that with faith and compassion anything is possible. She is a proud mother of two who continues to lead on faith and inspire those who dare to dream.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I would be lying if I said it was a relatively smooth road. My journey has had its challenges and hardship since starting my career as a teen mom, with nothing to give but my talents, passion, and hustle. I had to rely heavily on my Faith and will never give up. To defy the odds for our family and to inspire others. It came with significant challenges in ways I had to grow quickly but also had great hardship in building my career in such a cutthroat industry. But anything worth having will require many blocks, but I have overcome them with my foundation of Faith, resilience, and fearlessness.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As a stylist and creative director, I honestly do everything with great love, purpose, and service to help others through my work and creativity. As I transition into California, my current focus is figuring out what’s next for Ariella Faith, creative directing Timmy Ajulo, and continuing the launch of Style Sense with my business partner, Skye Charlie. We established Style Sense to help creative business owners launch, grow and scale a profitable business. As a creative business owner, I understand the demand and need for support while growing and scaling a business.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
I’ve learned a lot of things in life, but the most important is Faith over fear.

I have always been afraid of letting others down, remaining “on schedule” with my goals, and needing a paycheck, so I’ve had to learn how to set boundaries and not let those fears take control of my business decisions.

It’s a process that takes time, but if you’re willing to stay true to the boundaries you set, work on purpose, and have Faith, you can accomplish anything!
