Has it been a smooth road?
When I first started my business, I couldn’t find someone who would mentor me. All of the people I turned to for help considered me competition rather than a mentee. I was devastated but then I met Jenell B Stewart who took me under her wing and taught me how to fly. Since meeting Jenell, I have taken all of the strategies she taught me and have accelerated my success.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Digital Content creators will drive the marketing industry in the next 5 -10 years. With the changes COVID-19 has brought about, marketing teams will not be able to create content at the large scales they once did. They will therefore have to rely on Influencers, YouTubers, Podcasters to create content about their products. For content creators, this is an opportunity to build full-time careers and be entrepreneurs.
This is exactly why I decided to mentor new digital content creators. I want them to make their mark in this billion-dollar industry and find success just like I have.
