Today we’d like to introduce you to Antrell Terry.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Antrell. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started off writing poems and songs in high school and college. I never told anyone about it or showed anyone until I was about 24. I finally let one of my professors read some of my work and he urged me to break it down into a script as if it were a movie or television show and I did. Me and some friends would reenact a lot of the scripts I created and over the years I kind of just fell in love with writing and directing more and more. Just being able to see a story that I created come to life amazed me and I knew I wanted to pursue the entertainment industry more. Now I’m creating and directing for some of everyone’s favorite influencer’s but pretty soon I will start filming my own personal content that I’ve been holding on to. It’s all about divine timing.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Nothing in life is smooth or easy. I’ve hit more bumps in the road in Los Angeles than I ever have in life. Constantly hearing no, figuring out how to afford to live in Los Angeles and having issues getting my work out are just a few things I’ve had to overcome but the main thing is that I overcame the obstacles’. Growing up In North Little Rock (Rose City), Arkansas propelled me and strengthened me to overcome any road blocks in life & my parents always taught me the importance of never giving up and to continue to keep God first with every and anything I do.
MadLiveFX – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
At MadLiveFX we specialize in a broad of things but we stand out a lot for our green screen video’s. I have the pleasure of being the Executive Producer as well as Head Writer and Director for the company, what makes me so happy about MadLiveFX is how we treat each other. We look at each other as family more than just employees and we pride ourselves on making sure everyone’s mental is great before working or starting any meetings. What sets us apart from anyone else is the work ethnic and the quality of work we produce. We take our time to make sure every client has the best experience ever.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success can be defined in many ways. But for me success has boundaries. I will never fully be able to say that I’m successful simply because I never want to get comfortable or relaxed. Anyone can say they are successful but I’m chasing durability and longevity with this.
