Meet Angie Fisher

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angie Fisher.

Hi Angie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my professional singing career with a choir called “All God’s Children” where Lou Adler was the executive producer. I also became a member of the union SAG/Aftra.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. As a single mom at the time, it was emotionally difficult when I had to leave my son to travel for work. Singing backgrounds for different major artists whether touring/contracting vocal sound recording sessions and balancing being an artist of my own was hard to manage at times.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a professional singer, actor, and songwriter. I’m known for singing. My first single “IRS” was nominated for a Grammy. The Grammy committee loved my single do much that they asked me to sing live at the 57th Pre Grammy Awards ceremony. I’m proud of being a mother first. I’m also proud of all the many artists I was able to contract sessions for with Dave Foster along with many other producers and tour with as well. I’m set apart vocally. I’m a true singers singer and have a powerful voice along with being vulnerable. I’m about telling a story vocally that can somewhat make you feel emotional.

What are your plans for the future?
I plan on expanding more with acting, voice overwork, and possibly print modeling.
