Meet Andrew Gonzalez of Hologram Empire in Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Gonzalez.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Andrew. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
In high school, there were a lot of kids in bands. Battle of the bands is a big thing for high school kids, but over the years fewer and fewer people stayed involved with music. My brother and I have been in many different line ups of the band and have learned so much over the years from working with people who are still friends that have moved on from the band. Our line up is currently the strongest it has ever been and we are creating songs that have influences of 90s rock and electronic new age sounds mixed into one. We love to have fun and party and you can definitely hear that in our latest album we released entitled Spirit Animals. We had the good fortune of working with Craig Owens of Chiodos and Badxchannels on our single for this album and it really inspired us in the art of creating music. He is an amazing artist, so it was definitely a pleasure working with him. We are currently playing shows to promote the new album and are having a really great time. Come party with us!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Everyone in the band works a day job. We work hard and play even harder. Music is a way to get away from the stress of everyday life for us. We are very involved with our community and love to play events for everybody to just let loose and party.
