Meet Allante Steele of The Whlgn

Today we’d like to introduce you to Allante Steele.

Allante, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
As a young entrepreneur, my first business was a Cleaning Service. Over time I grew to learn my passions more & now I do Creative Artist Management, Brand Development, Model, Act, Photography, some Videography & I’ve also done some Directing for visuals. I work with a team of creatives & entrepreneurs that respectively do what we love. We created a youth program for young men the ages of 13 to 19 around the sustainability around entrepreneurship. I do what I Love & I love what I do. It’s really as simple as that. I learned that my purpose in life is to help people. Essentially in order to help myself properly sometimes I need the balance of helping someone else. For me personally, it started after I left college & initially moved back home with my moms going through different changes. I decided to save up my money in order to move to NY w/ my brother. When I did so, it took me on this journey to my greatness, I started to help manage his arts & in the process I found myself. For some reason, I feel like the world should know how passionate & powerful my energy is. World Wide Uncle Tae.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I feel like there is no success without struggle. I had so many different setbacks from being arrested, getting kicked out of school, having to move from home to new locations, man so much but I feel like it was all essential for my growth.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
As a whole, we work within our community to make a sustainable living around entrepreneurship. Working with the youth, art, clothing, photography, culinary art, videography, carpentry, mechanics really anything you name we could find a way to get it done. I’m most proud of the impact we have grown for our community over the last few years as it continues to grow. Great minds forever.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was very curious as a kid. Always wondering what something was and it could often lead me to trouble. I was very outgoing since I was the only child knowing that when I got home from school, it would just be me & my moms.
