Meet Alicia Pigee of APenterprises in Norwalk

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alicia Pigee.

Alicia, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started directing plays since I was seven years of age in my backyard home I grew up in.

Since then, I created skits in my annual women conferences to minister to women from all backgrounds and ethnicities since 1995.

The women conferences grew from a handful of women to over 1200 registers.

I have launched a play production entitled “The House of Reds” which have sold out each the four times that was ran.

I am now currently launching another stage play production title “Activate In Me” coming soon in May 22&24, 2020.

Women come from everywhere to be empowered by the theatrical experience of the conference.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all! I got married at 15 years of age. Became a mother, wife and a minister wife all in the same day!

I had to drop out of school to help support and raise my children. After I pushed my children through college and they received their degrees, I, Later in life went back to get my high school diploma, received my Bachelors in Behavior Science and masters in divinity and currently a student to receive my Doctorate I’m Ministry degree from Azuza Pacific University.

God has been good!

APenterprises – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I am a conference speaker, playwright, director and producer.

I currently am a copastor of a non-denominational church The Word Center located in Norwalk, CA.

I’m most proud of being able to minister and empower women and men from all walks of life.

What sets me apart from others is I’m not in competition with anyone. It’s strictly ministry and fulfilling my calling I’m earth through bringing a balance of the positive side of the world to the church so that both are ministered to.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Being able to get Over 1200 women to be interested in the call in my life to minister to them.

Being able to help women that were victims of substance abuse and were incarcerated losing everything and getting their life back.
