Meet Alice Bradley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alice Bradley.

Alice, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was never a lover of sports growing up since I didn’t play much of it. My mother raised me to be focused on academics therefore working out was not a big interest of mine until a friend during my freshman year in college asked me to sign up at a gym with her. Our weekly visits to the gym gradually built my liking for getting healthy. From then on, I took working out to another level. I started learning how to use machines properly, along with the importance of incorporating cardio and core work into every workout. Gradually I started to love the reasons behind the importance of having a fitness routine and working out suddenly became a lifestyle. It no longer felt like a chore but more of a want. I enjoyed the elements of what exercise brought for me mentally and physically, and thus I wanted to help others feel the same. I decided to get certified as a personal trainer so I could share my love and knowledge while helping people stay healthy mentally and physically. I started off training only part-time mainly on weekends and just recently made the transition as a full-time fitness coach since I felt in my gut this was what I was meant to do, and I am appreciating and loving each and every step through this journey. I am excited to see where my future takes me.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The biggest struggle for me has been retaining long-term clients and motivating them not to drop off from their routine. Often times it is a challenge teaching them the importance of wellness and health and having them stick with a structured healthy lifestyle.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a fitness specialist certified as a personal trainer. I specialize in core strength, HIIT and strength training. I am best known for my core work. I am most proud of being able to assess potential client’s needs, designing a program that best works for them and implement a package with them. What sets me apart is that I am the most disciplined person I myself has ever known and have been told the same from family to friends. Regardless of what day it is or how I feel, I will always devote six days a week to my training.
