Today we’d like to introduce you to Alex Dias Schafirovitch
Hi Alex, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I immigrated at age 14 to Los Angeles, CA. After completing high school, I began my career in the fashion industry. I first began assisting some of LA’s biggest celebrity wardrobe stylists, where I found my initial passion in styling. Shortly after, I established my clientele list and began doing some styling work myself. I’ve been styling celebrities and influencers for over four years now. Back in 2018, I began developing my fashion brand Phixation and launched two years later in 2020. I had my jewelry placed in many influential celebrities and digital creators. I continue to work on my brand and styling. Now I find myself working on both and taking a new project which is social media management. I work closely with clients to provide the best digital management experience.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges I have encountered were definitely in my early stages in my career, where many of the stylists I worked for would overwork me with little to no pay compensation and working 12 hour days with no lunch breaks.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am known in LA as a celebrity stylist, entrepreneur, and social media mogul. I specialize in fashion and luxury. Researching the latest trends and constantly evolving as a fashionista professional.
What matters most to you? Why?
What matters to me the most is curating a unique fashion platform across social media platforms to reach people across the world and inspire people to think differently. I love inspiring people to think outside the box and hopefully shine the light on being an immigrant and being able to tell my story of how hard work and determination led me to become successful in such a competitive industry.
